24 Years Producing Wedding Films!

My name is Natalie and here is a bio about myself and how Wedding Flicks was founded.

My Inspiratioin

My Father captured so much footage of our family. His love of film rubbed off on me as I realised how important and wonderful it is to capture moments onto film to watch and relive. (The little video below was put together using my Father’s cine footage) Priceless xx

In 1999 I was married and began teaching myself how to edit my own wedding film in 2000 not even knowing how to turn on a PC. Before completion of our wedding film my new husband and I decided to film a friends wedding just purely for the joy of it as I loved making films. They Loved It!!

Below is my first ever edit as I put together cine footage my dad had captured of both them and their friends traveling by car to the south of Spain.

At the end of 2000/early 2001 I received a call from a friend to say that they had seen the wedding film produced for their family member and would love to have their daughters wedding filmed. This was my first paid production and I just was overwhelmed that people loved my work, my eye and my creativeness.

Time went on, weddings were booked and I worked my way crashing numerous PC’s as they simply could not keep up with my demands!! Then I bought an Apple Power Mac and production suite and have never looked back.

Now Covid has finished it’s wedding disruptions and after having made some amazing life changes, I have settled on the south coast in a beautiful little village, Felpham, right by the sea! I love it here and have just invested into a new production kit including the latest Apple Power Mac Pro and Final Cut production suite and two of the latest Sony full frame Cinematic cameras and lastly a 4K drone to fly through the skies capturing stunning sweeping shots of your beautiful venue from above.
